Travel Club Lounge KLIA2 Review (and How to Get in!)
Before every flight, we always try to find the best airport lounges to relax and enjoy some free perks. While Plaza Premium Lounges at KLIA2 are well-known, did you know there's a another lounge in KLIA2 called the Travel Club Lounge? It's less crowded experience for us seeking a peaceful pre-flight retreat.
Access Requirements
The Travel Club Lounge is open 24 hours daily. You can access this lounge via lounge program membership like Priority Pass. Or using their associated partners credit card and use that to access the lounge. A normal entrance will cost about RM205. There was no wait at the entrance and we were admitted entrance after showing our Alliance Visa Infinite and boarding pass.

Priority Pass: If your card comes with Priority Pass membership, you can access the lounge for free (up to a certain number of visits).
Lounge Programs: DragonPass and other similar programs might grant you free entry. Check if your card or travel insurance includes it.
What's inside the Travel Club Lounge?
Unlimited Drinks (Including Craft Beer/Cocktails): they have a open bar facing the runway, featuring a variety of soft drinks and craft beer. But what really caught our attention was the selection of drinks. There are both non-alcoholic drinks and canned beer on offer in the lounge. Non-alcoholic drinks consist of soft drinks, iced teas and juices. There are also some packaged tea and coffee.
Food Beyond the Usual: The food options were a definitely better than Premium Plaza Lounge. They have variety of choices like local food and we enjoyed some tasty pasta, fruits, dessert and it’s alot better than expected
Comfy Seating: The lounge offered a variety of seating options to suit different needs.
Other Amenities: We also appreciated the essentials like charging stations, free Wi-Fi, and flight information displays, which helped us stay connected and prepared for our journey. You can even get to shower before your flight!
Conclusion
If you're flying from the J/L gates, this lounge is a great option. There’s 2 travel club lounges in KLIA2. After security, there isn't much else around, so it's the perfect spot to grab a drink, have a snack, and relax before your flight. This is also a great way to avoid expensive airport prices. While it's not perfect in KLIA2 but it's definitely better than nothing! It's becoming more common these days access with lounge, but with Plaza Premium Lounges getting more crowded, maybe it's time to try something different. Time to discover alternative lounge options for a more exclusive experience!
